interestingly the gravity on a flat earth would get drastically skewed as you got away from the center.... meaning any buildings would have to be built on an angel to prevent collapse....
and ultimately meaning the earth would collapse in on itself due to gravity turning the earth back into a more round form.
oh wait never mind Gravity is a myth.....
on a more serious note i actually worked with a guy who was an Honest Flat earther... he actually said Gravity was a myth and the earth was the center of the universe.... the moon landing and any space travel was faked because there is a barrier above us preventing us from leaving the earth....
apparently the flat earth resides in a snow globe.
he also believes that the world we perceive is fake.. the only way to perceive the true world is to use LSD (might not have been LSD specifically but it was some hallucination enduing drug..)
as you could imagine it got rather infuriating having to deal with someone like that. mostly because he had a large intellectual ego... he would frequently tell me that he was the one bringing facts and i was just bringing what i was taught in school.
generally speaking if you have to change literally everything we know about physics and science to fit your hypothesis.... then your going to need an unprecedented amount of evidence.
the best part of all was he thought he should have been the manager of the workplace after 6 months of working there.... and threatened to quit if he didn't get it.... we just let him walk... he wasn't that good a worker in the first place.... poor working weed heads are a dime a dozen... the only reason i would have left him around is so i could hear more of the "Troof" about "da flaaat eurth."
anyway the point is don't do drugs kids..at beast you become a poor worker at worst you turn into a flat earther.
